Editing software preference

Wanted to know what the majority prefer.

I'm super familiar with Vegas and have used that to edit my videos for the longest time, but i'm interested in potentially getting into Premiere Pro because I use a bit of After Effects. I'm good with Photoshop and Illustrator too so i'm hoping I can easily integrate into it, but i'm not sure if I should spend time learning a completely new program. For Premiere Pro peeps, what does it do that vegas doesn't?

I've done some videos on Final Cut Pro too, which is a pain in the ass imo.

For integration purposes, I would suggest switching to Premiere Pro as the workflow will be a lot better. As someone who've also used Vegas for a while and made the switch, Premiere Pro is the superior program, imo. After a while I felt Vegas wasn't doing the job I wanted from just a pure editing sense and got that right away when using Premiere Pro. Learning curve shouldn't be too long, just stock up on guide videos to help you learn the program quicker.

I have tried a lot of editors but my preferred video editing software is Vegas. It does everything that I need perfectly and I really love the interface and commands.

I agree with Lee completely vegas can take you far but premiere will be way better than vegas with the addition of other adobe software you can do a lot of things vegas kinda hits a roadblock if you don't use it with like after effects in my opinion so either way you go needs adobe lol.

I feel like I've reached my limits on vegas, do you know of any cracked links for Premiere Pro or is it better to just buy it?

I started out using Sony Vegas pretty heavy, but I switched to Adobe Premeire around 2012 and haven’t switched since. I mostly got it to try something new and be able to use Twitch and Magic Bullet.
