I thought Fastlane was alright. The WWE Title Match was awesome. Looks like Kofi will get his big moment at Mania which is cool. I hated how the Lynch/Charlotte Match ended. They made that storyline waaaay more complicated than it needed to be. Also, I hate the way Shinsuke is being used lol.

I'm fine with having all their wrestlers on an even plain but honestly it feels the roster is in a hole that they can't climb out of.

All their decisions have made all their stars subpar looking and they can't seem to maximize potential at all. Asuka submits Becky clean at the Rumble and is nowhere to be seen at Mania. They have Kofi/New Day squash Smackdown. Brock cashes in his Brock in a bank and this is just a thing now. Having Shane compete regularly just puts smackdown below sea level.

One unnecessary damaging decision after another.

Curious to see if Heyman and Bischoff can upgrade the quality of RAW and Smackdown.

Fan or not, the decrease in quality of shows between 2019 and say, 2000-03 is depressing.
The issue i see is the state Smackdown and RAW have been left in is where they need to lovk it up from. Heyman has been put in charge of RAW with Rollins/Becky feuding with Corbin/Evans and the Wildcard rule which is completely ruining other shit too. I tgibk whatever Bischoff and Heyman want to do will pretty much be put in play fully by SSlam they just needa sort out the mess RAW n SD been left in.

One of many problems really.

There is laziness and complacency (it is hard to run a billion dollar company with consistent quality) and then there is whatever we're watching now. Laziness is expected and maybe understandable. Laziness would be monthly tournaments where at least it writes itself and build drama without trying. WWE is not consistent at all but the one common theme you can count on from them is they will guarantee each and EVERYONE looks like a joke. Faces yearn for fan approval 24/7 and heels are mildly retarded. These are your character archetypes; pick your poison.

Vince will never understand the attraction of sports (which is why XFL will fail again) so it doesn't surprise me he doesn't know what is a #1 contender. The last handful of challengers for Kofis title got the title shot by jumping him from behind and Baron Corbin has had his 100th rematch. This here denies every bit of suspense it got going for those feuds. I'm not proposing we rank every superstar 1 to 100 but there should be tiers that gives us an idea of possible new challengers to give these weekly shows some anticipation and appeal. Its already pretty bad enough where heels literally don't care about these matches and walk out without punishment making these weekly SHOWS a complete farce and void of any relevancy.

Once Vince is done playing god/match maker, he'll realize its too late. This company has zero goodwill left.

The wildcard is a fucking joke. What even is a brand split these days

In the latest Observer, Dave mentions how WWE has relaxed a bit on scripting all the promos word-for-word.
Bayley, Banks and Mysterio’s promos on Raw were all done without being scripted word-for-word, basically the old bullet points style and going for it. There is a movement to try and do more of that going forward, similar to the leeway that Owens (and I believe Bryan but that hasn’t been told to me directly) get on Smackdown and why his promos, if not both of theirs, come off better than almost anyone.

Well for what it’s worth Raw and Smackdown have been extremely watchable for weeks now. Which is a record.

From inside the garden yesterday , it was rocking all night.

Going tonight. Hopefully it’s just as rocking.

Also a lil nugget, was in the 300s, got to the garden and I got moved to the floor next to the ramp (floor seats are overrated especially if you’re in the back). Learned really quickly that those floor seat chairs are valuable. Someone wanted mine off my hands for $75. I gave mine away

Sucks for Elias. He should atleast get a segment tonight in MSG. Can’t pass up that heel heat.

From inside MSG last night

Place wasn't as lively as Raw obviously, Loads of moments where the crowd went mild on the show (due to weird writing throughout) and the crowd demographic being mostly casuals not looking for 3-4 star classics. Just peeps who wanna have a good time. The crowd, atleast my section, absolutely was fuming at the conclusion of the Shane V Kevin deal. Kevin, in character, shouldn't care about what Shane does to him, and a bigger moment for Kevin was missed for tonight. Should have done this angle last week or weeks ago.

The baby deal during 205 live was fun at the moment. Fiend appearance was amazing although I do think this dark match should have been on tv.

Despite the demographic, WWE should definitely come back to MSG for an NXT event at minimum or a PPV. But hey, Barclays is always cheaper, prettier, and easier to get to for me.

I agree. If NXT really wants to kick things off in a high gear, they need to go to where the atmosphere is electric and where fanbases of any sport are always jacked for action.

I think every nxt takeover has been electric whether it'd be new York or Florida.

I cant agree with what they're doing with owens. They can't seem to decide if they want him to be stone cold or daniel bryan. He can't be both.
