Batista is Leaving Next Month ?

In the main evnet of Monday’s WWE RAW, Batista defeated Randy Orton and Sheamus (with help from Edge) in a triple threat match to become the #1 contender to John Cena’s WWE Championship. Batista will face Cena at WWE’s new Over The Limit pay-per-view on May 23rd.

Batista will be appearing on WWE’s tour of Mexico during the second week of May. Following his match with John Cena at Over the Limit, he will be officially leaving the company. With one of the company’s top stars of the past decade leaving for good, expect a lot of buildup to his match with Cena next month.

While the idea of Batista becoming a free agent might sound great to TNA fans, don’t expect him to follow in the foot steps of Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam. The Animal plans to pursue a movie career and has aspirations to be the next WWE superstar to cross over into full time acting.
