Resolution: Holy shit man, I love your style of editing. Love your song choices, effects, and your clip selection is flawless. This video gets better and better after every watch. Was speechless the first time I watched it lol. Love how you were able to recap Aleister's WWE career in such a short amount of time while also making the video very enjoyable. The transitions between all his feuds were executed very well. I also liked how you were able to incorporate the heart without it seeming forced. And really liked the symbolism of it bursting with him turning heel. In all honesty, besides your pacing being a tad bit off at times, which was very minor, I don't have any problems with this video. Hands down the best Aleister Black video I've seen yet. Amazing job.

Pehrox: This started off very promising but then I felt it went left. I think this would have probably benefited more if the video was shorter. Ok so, 0:13-0:26 was great. Gave us a good feel of what was to come and the voiceover was perfect to start the video off. Everything from that to 1:05 was excellent. Everything from pacing, to the lyric sync was great imo. Then from 1:06 to 1:19, while I thought your editing was okay, I did kinda feel the voiceover wasn't necessarily needed. 1:19-1:58, again, this sequence was nice, pacing and lyric sync was on point, no problems. 1:59-2:10, I don't kno what you were going for with this sequence honestly. You have Roman talking about how he defeated Kevin Owens but there's only like 3 clips of them actually fighting. So I didn't really see any point in this voiceover. I think you could have either left it out, or added a different one all together. 2:11-3:17 was my favorite part of the video, this looked very nice and I think you did an excellent job with this sequence. I think this would have been the perfect way to end the video. And finally, 3:18-3:43, again, felt wasn't really needed. Video started to slightly drag at that point. But overall, while I do think this was a good video, it did seem to drag after a while and after the first voiceover I felt the other two didn't really do much to help the video and could have been left out. Your pacing and lyric sync were great tho. Good job.

Resolution:
I really enjoyed the way you used the lyrics to drive some explanation on the character of Black. From his NXT run, NXT title loss and eventual 'heel' run, everything fit in context with the song choice without it feeling forced. Thought you did a very commendable job of structuring your video as everything that was shown had purpose, imo. Thought your vfx were great and fit very well. Feel it goes unappreciated how well you're able to pull these off in your videos and feel you've stepped it up in your last two videos. While I thought it was more visually about ascetically looking nice in your Rollins video, thought you used them to your advantage here to drive your music video and the character of Black.

Thought your editing here was pretty good though I do feel you lose some control when the pace picks up. While editing in 25 fps can forgive a lot of the overly sped-up clips at times, think it's something that you need to slow down on a bit. Especially with action clips as it makes it hard to see what's going on. Didn't have any other issues with your technique but wanted to bring that up as it seems to be a habit of yours. A fairly minor thing that I think is an easy fix, especially considering your experience. Very enjoyable video overall.

Pehrox: I thought this video lacked the structure needed to fill a nearly four-minute video. There was no real focal point other than showcasing Roman at his current state through the weak use of lyrical moments that got repetitive really quick. The use of footage made no sense at times either. In one clip I'm seeing him torment Jey Uso and the next he's hugging him with no explanation at all. There was a soundbite of him mentioning defeating Kevin Owens in which you didn't cover much of at all, at least enough to explain the use of the voiceover. Just felt you paid little to no attention to detail when it came to your clip usage as it made things convoluted and confusing at times.

Had the same issue with your editing as I did with your Orton tron. "A lot" of unnecessary fade-outs during the first half and felt you overcompensated during the J-cole section to the point of overspeeding your footage a bit too much at times. Seem to revert back to your old habits which I thought would fade after your Balor video which seemed to be a big move forward.

Decent work to an extent but felt this was a big step down compared to your last video and seemed rushed based on your technique.

Pehrox: Man, you've been dropping really fantastic videos as of recently. Your Balor video from January was one of my favorites from the Vidmas comp. And this video is just as good. This is less ambitious , but I do think that the structure looks a bit more thought out and the editing is great. There wasn't anything too crazy yet I never once felt bored. The lyrical syncs were probably the my favorite thing about this. And I think that you've been improving with clip selection. As this video consists a variety clips compared to your old videos when you would show a ton of entrance clips lol. Although I still think you need to calm down with amount of entrance clips you show as there was still a lot of them in the first half of this video haha.
Thought that the repetition of clips and quick cutting in certain parts was a good technique to make this a bit more of a fun viewing. I liked the text at the intro/outro, as it kind of fits the slow and somewhat simple tone of the song. However, it would have been cool if you had tried to make a much nicer text, maybe even a graphic.
I like how this differentiates a lot from the Roman edit you made about 2 years around this same time of season. In that video, you did a fantastic job at portraying Roman as someone who worked hard to get where he was at, and in this one you did a fantastic job at displaying his new persona. Keep up the great work Pehrox. You've become one of my favorite editors in the community in the past year or so.

Vote: Resolution's video is s tier while Pehrox's video was b tier. Don't know if anyone in the following rounds will be able to have a better video than the one Resolution made but it just makes me more excited to see the remaining videos of this rumble.
