sts - This is better than the tron AEW made for Britt Baker. Glad you decided to include those 2 clips with the xray and her at work being a dentist at the start of the video. Which is similar to the one from AEW, but you placed the clip with her walking synced to "the doctor will see you now" which was fantastic. Loved the coldish/bluish color look; it resembles the vibes of going to the dentist lol. However, I do think a bit less contrast and more brightness to the look would have made it look nicer. That's honestly the only flaw/or thing I dislike from this. Cause everything else looks perfectly executed. You chose to add the right expressions that display her cockiness and will power to keep going even if she looks like a bloody mess. You chose the right moves that showcase how aggressive she gets. And I'm not the biggest fan of her wrestling, but these moves felt more impactful with your smooth quick cuts and right placement on the beats of the song. Love the sequence from 0:35 to 0:55 with bluish blurry flares and the warp looking transitions. That was all done too damn great. I really liked the way the text at the start looked, but after a while I felt like it didn't fit the vibe of the video too well. It kind of looks a bit comical Imo, but I still think you did a superb job on it.
This was such good shit sts!
Leelee - I've watched this way too many times now but I'm still not getting tired of it. It's similar to your Roman Reigns Tron from the past event in terms of how well the video is made and it basically feels like something WWE would make - that's how great this is. Plus Bianca Belair has the best theme in WWE so maybe that's another reason as to why I can't get enough of this.
It's cool how this is sort of split into 3 sections with the first section showing Belairs athletic side, the second section shows her type of character with all the different amount of expressions we see, and the third section is a combination of the first two plus showing her more aggressive strikes and power moves. The dark red background on the text was a nice choice of color and it gives it a classy look. Compared to the bright pink graphic that WWE uses, I prefer this one that you made as it goes nice with the vibe of the song.
I felt like the sequence at around 1:00-1:04 could have been done much more smoother compared to the other similar sequences like at 0:14-0:17 which is beautifully done. But yeah other than that the editing throughout the video was excellent.
Vote - Leelee. This was a great match. I thought sts' video was almost as good as Leelee's. But Leelee's editing is too damn clean and like I said before, it feels like I'm watching a video package that WWE made.
STS- Wow. If ever AEW needed a secondary titantron, this would certainly fit the bill to a 2nd tron. I Loved loved LOVED the use of text with what seemed to be a technological background, pacing, esp. in the beginning where it was "doctor will see you now", was fluid & use of effects were timed well w/o coming off as either artsy or oversaturated in color. I do think, however, that a little less contrast & more brightness would've made those flashing moments a bit more high in quality. Other than that, great stuff by STS.
LeeLee- Well, if that isn't one of the greatest trons I've ever seen, I don't know what is. I mean, well...done. It's amazing how improved you've gotten since your clashes with...I think the username was TheRock420RVD? Anyways, back to the review. Syncing was near perfect...as well as very creative in using different clips of the same performed move, pacing was fluid w/o letting the text drag out too far & effects like the circle vignette blur was well done w/o ruining the quality of clips used. A VERY solid watch with high replay value.
What a main event this was. 2 of Music Video Editing's veteran content creators colliding & putting great effort and passion behind their final product. However, as equal in quality & aesthetics both videos were, only one video had a photo finish.
